Portrait is an enigma and it's own clue. Taking a picture is substracting ourselves to the living moment , sacrificing this glimpse (blink) to a parallel moment of picture taking and trying to take the subject with us. This is a hold-up. Where is all this time gone?
Le portrait est à la fois une énigme et un indice. Capturer un portrait c'est se soustraire au moment présent, sacrifier un court fragment de temps à un moment parallèle de la prise de vue, et essayer d'emporter le sujet avec soi. Le portrait est une prise d'otage. Où tout ce temps est-il passé?
